| Wayphone Applications |
The WayPhone has been designed to suit applications
where reliable unattended operation and resistance to damage through
environment or vandalism is an issue. WayPhones are used as an
emergency telephone or intercom system in transport, security
and safety applications. They are especially suitable for locations
which are high in noise levels and a handset type telephone is
unacceptable.
WayPhones can be connected via PBX, telephone line, cellular(mobile)
and ethernet/LAN/fibre and powered from mains, 48VDC or solar.

The WayPhone has been designed to suit applications where reliable

- Emergency or information telephone services in remote or unattended
locations such as freeways, tollways, bridges or tunnels
- Harsh or dangerous environments; such as chemical plants,
oil refineries, factories or surf beaches
- Security/emergency/information provision in car parks and
city malls
- Information provision in hospitals, airports, bus and train
stations
- Information provision in national parks, zoos, gardens, golf
courses and tourist sites
- Security provision in tertiary campuses and universities
- In a GSM mobile and solar configuration the WayPhone can be
used for temporary help points at festivals, sports events,
etc
