Sydney Harbour now has VCE technology

All the ferry terminals around Sydney harbour have now had the emergency and information facilities upgraded with Clearsonics VCE modules for both emergency and information communications. Another example where Clearsonics technology has been called upon to solve problems of outdoor hands-free communications where initially less appropriate products have been installed.

Problems such as difficulty in hearing each party and calls dropping out have now been overcome when a module version of the WayPhone had been installed between the call box and transmission system which is based on a wireless LAN. The module can be placed up to 100 metres from the actual call box.

Clearsonics has now released the module version as a standard product.
