Clearsonics Wins project in Chile

Clearsonics has been awarded the emergency roadside telephone system for the Autopista Central tollway in Santiago...

Building upon successful projects in Brazil Clearsonics was sought out by Autopista Central to provide a VoIP emergency telephone system for this newest tollway in Santiago. Approximately 150 emergency phones will be placed on the open road and inside tunnel sections of the motorway. The Clearsonics WayPhone Manager (now also in Spanish) will provide facilities for up to four operators to manage emergency calls including recording and full diagnostic capabilities. The system will communicate via TCP/IP and phones operate in a master slave configuration to provide a very economical system based on the latest in technology. The Autopista Central project will be delivered in stages starting August 2003 and completed in 2005.
